Legend has it that the name of Calle de las Tres Cruces is attributed to the installation of three crosses at the site of the execution by the Inquisition, as a reminder of the burning of three heretics who profaned an image of the virgin on Calle de la Salud. These heretics, two women and a man, led to Calle de las Tres Cruces acquiring this name from the seventeenth century. And our hotel, in a sense, also owes its name to that heresy.
