The year is coming to an end, and to wish it farewell we propose you make one last escapade to a beautiful city like Valencia. The city of the river Turia is perfect to enjoy a short trip to disconnect from routine and admire the city’s neighborhoods and charming corners.

Another activity you can do, is a tour of the Nativity Scenes that are set up at various landmark buildings of the city, such as the Cathedral of Valencia, the City of Arts and Sciences, the City Hall Square… It’s a fantastic plan to discover some of the main tourist attractions of the city.
It is also traditional during this time of year, to go to a Christmas funfair, which is set up between the street of Ingeniero Soto and the Avenue of France. At the same time, the circus is also one of the main protagonists in Christmas. The jugglers, acrobats, aerial gymnasts and many other artists will be waiting for you between the 5th of December and the 11th of January in North round of Valencia, on the corner of Juan XXIII.
And, since you are in Valencia, you cannot leave without tasting an exquisite rice dish, a specialty of this area. One of the best places to do so, is the town of Palmar, an emblematic area outside the city but is well worth visiting. You will not only be able to try an authentic paella from Valencia, but you can also take the opportunity to discover the Albufera de Valencia, take a boat ride and see the rice fields where the best rice in Valencia is grown.
