Beach destinations, like Malaga, are the key to a summer holiday (as always) is something clear. Of course, although the sunsets on the beach are a real wonder, when the coastal humidity makes an appearance and the temperature start to climb, try to look for alternative plans to enjoy a cool afternoon. A plan that never fails? Say yes to an afternoon of shopping in one of the most important shopping centres in Malaga.
Today we stayed in Malaga, so to be (next to Cadiz) near one of the main beaches in Andalusia. Which are the most important and best connected shopping centres with Petit Palace Plaza Málaga? Take note that when we go shopping:
Plaza Mayor, the shopping centre of Benalmádena
Less than 15 minutes drive from the Petit Palace Plaza Málaga Hotel is one of the most modern shopping centres in the entire province of Malaga. Named Plaza Mayor, this shopping centre offers shoppers cinemas, hundreds of shops, concert halls and a really varied offer of restaurants, pubs and wine bars.
The best time to visit it? Late in the afternoon. There is nothing like having dinner outdoors in its immense central square. A place where there is no lack of live music and a great local atmosphere.
Málaga Plaza Shopping Centre
Between the streets Cerrojo and Calvo you will find the beautiful Málaga Plaza Shopping Centre (less than 10 minutes walking from the city centre). With brands like FNAC, the place offers more than six thousand square metres of shops, restaurants and indoor gardens that will make you feel as if you are in an exclusive urban oasis.
A world of shops in La Rosaleda
Twelve cinemas and a total of 120 stores from national and internationally renowned brands. All this and much more is what can be found at the Shopping Center Rosaleda. Less than 200 metres from La Rosaleda Stadium (where the Málaga CF team plays), this centre is perfect for those who travel by car and want access to a secure carpark.
Thanks to its many glass domes and their excellent distribution, the mall boasts a unique and charming natural light. Ideal for an afternoon walk with something other than shopping.
