In past articles, we talked about Sierra Norte de Sevilla as a must-visit place for hiking lovers, a really beautiful place which will surely become a handicap to those travellers who want to enjoy a lonely tour or without too many tourists.

Its dry cold weather is perfect for hiking and enjoying the natural beauty of the southern landscapes. We suggest you today 3 essential hiking tours that will surely bring colour and emotion to your relaxing holidays at a Petit Palace hotel in Seville. It’s time to start walking!

We begin our tour in El Madroño (approximately 70 kilometers away from Seville). It is close to Rio Guadiana, where you can admire part of the amazing Rio Tinto. Even if it rises in Huelva (at Sierra de Padre Caro, next to Tharsis village), it is worth admiring their red, yellow and ocher waters. You will love the tour even if it not really a hiking tour.

On the same direction (going to the neighbouring province of Huelva) we reach our second option, the magical Doñana’s National Park. The towns of La Puebla del Rio and Aznalcazar in Sevilla allow us to walk around the marshes and enjoy its dunes. It is a highly recommended experience.

Our hiking recommendations’ last stop is the tour of Alcala de Guadaira, Los Palacios, Corchuela, part of Seville and back to Los Palacios, where we find a popular hiking tour and relatively close to the city (Los Palacios is within 20 kilometers away from Seville). The path’s difficulty is low (most of it is flat), however you should take it seriously as you will approximately spend more than 5 hours each way.

If you decide to start this adventure, we can guarantee you will enjoy authentic and not crowded paths and discover some of the most beautiful places of Seville countryside.
